As children, many of us get caught up in receiving gifts, but as we mature, our faith shows us it's better to give than to receive. So many of us never realize our potential to help others. We think we don't have the skills and ability to make a difference. I have learned that sharing what we do know and have without reservation or fear can change the lives of others. This story shows how a cowboy with just his everyday work skills and willingness to sacrifice his time without a thought of recognition to help a stranger can change certain disappointment into certain joy.
