This review provides a record of research in progress, along with illustrative achievements resulting from the basic research program of the Directorate of Chemical Sciences, Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFSC). The first section of the three principle sections presents various technical aspects. It contains articles on Air Force research in Molecular Dynamics, Structural Chemistry and Chemical Instrumentation plus a report on Electrochemistry submitted by the European Office of Aerospace Research and Development.
