Assessing Moisture In Building Materials

The objective of this Good Repair Guide is to provide building professionals with examples of analytical techniques which could be used to supplement visual information in the identification of moisture problems. Part 2 discusses a range of techniques available for measuring moisture content in building materials: the electrical resistance method (using moisture meters), drilling walls to collect samples, and environmental monitoring using sensors. These are described and discussed.
