Attracting High Achievers To Teaching

The authors discuss why Australia’s young high achievers are turning their backs on teaching, arguing that research shows they want to make a difference in their careers, and are interested in teaching, but choose professions with better earning potential and more career challenge. The authors recommend a bold reform package they claim could double the number of high achievers choosing teaching within a decade.
