They are the prop orties of several collectors. The coins represent an important unbroken line. From 500 B. C. To date, with numerous examples from Ancient Greece, Egypt, Rome and Persia. These include authentic pieces, some with portraits, of Marc Antony, Brutus, Julius Caesar, Nero, Ferdi nand and Isabella, Elizabeth, the Napoleon family and other historical celebrities. Added is a fine lot of European and American Coins, gold, sil ver and copper coins. The collection 01 medals includes a large and varied lot issued to Abraham Lincoln, dating from 1860, with a variety of por traits, quaint mo'ttoes and inscriptions. The file of old newspapers, for 1758, gives valuable accounts of important battles of the French and Indian War, especially referring to the operations against Ticonderoga, Louisburg, Crown Point and Fort Duquesne. There is a considerable variety of Egyptian scarabs and idols and Roman and Greece antiquities, dating from B. C. To 400 A. D.
