The meetings also augmented our efforts to transfer our research results to industry and academia. In 1990, technology transfer was accomplished by the preparation and publication of 180 papers, the presentation of 150 talks and the submission of 6 invention disclosures. Many of the outputs were obtained through cooperative programs with guest scientists and research associates from industry.
