The CG-263 Paint and Color manual was prepared by the US Coast Guard to document the basic instructions for color schemes used by the service. It includes color diagrams of the color schemes, but is largely in black and white. It includes the technical details of how to mix, store, prepare, and apply various paints that were in use at the time. It is being reprinted as a convenience to operators, enthusiasts and private owners.
