Culture Of Salmonid Fishes

Salmonids represent the primary coldwater fishes of culture interest in the world today; species discussed in this work were selected on the basis of their importance to the aquaculture community. In recognition of the growing concern that aquaculture development has the potential to negatively impact the natural environment, a chapter on controversies surrounding salmonid culture has been included. The first chapter provides a summary of life history information of the species covered in the book.
