Floral Calm is the best after-work meditation book for decompressing while exploring your creativity. There are 20 original illustrations by Andalee Hyatt, a published author, and illustrator who researched Victorian literature and Gothic fiction. The beautiful garden florals in Floral Calm were inspired by the idea of a coloring book themed "from your backyard." It follows the inspiration of Henry David Thoreau in a picturesque exploration of close-up flower illustrations. The illustrations are intended to inspire you to find beauty in your own garden. These inside panels are accompanied by quotes inspired by Walden contemplating deep thoughts about the human connection with nature. These illustrations allow you to explore color as you connect with the artist within. An intro panel features the original images for each illustration so the artist can use these as a guide, or select photos from the imagination.
