The Gunsmoke Chronicles: A New History of Television's Greatest Western by David R. Greenland is a detailed account of the long-running classic containing information not found in previous books about the series, including an excerpt from Dennis Weaver's Gunsmoke-era resume contributed by the late Mr. Weaver.
