Comforting children is all right but it is equally important to teach them to manage their fears on their own and feel more in control. To help them learn how to manage their emotions and resultant behaviour is crucial. Being frightened is a normal part of growing up. At times, one may not be aware of one’s fear. No escape, no running, but keeping an eye on our fear is the key!
