Mcminn County Tennessee Marriages 1820 1870

McMinn County was created in 1819 out of lands ceded by the Cherokee Indians in the southeastern corner of the state. It is located in the Eastern Tennessee which was a pivotal point for migration into and through the State. At its inception as a county, it was surrounded by: Monroe, Rhea & Roane counties, Indian lands and by the Northern Georgia.
