Memoirs Of A Tail Gunner

An 18-year-old tail gunner on a B17 watches as flak bursts all around him. German fighter planes buzz by, machine guns blasting as wounded bombers turn and head for home and others in tailspins crash into the green fields below. His Flying Fortress heads back to base safely after surviving its bombing mission. The young tail gunner gives a sigh of relief, but deep down inside, he knows - IT ONLY TAKES ONE!
