Entries range from 1467 to 1995 and have no geographical or language limitations. Information is divided into categories including catalogs and literature, unnamed collections, the migration of private collections, private collections now in institutions, vendors of collections, and lists, catalogs, and inventories. Data includes where the item can be found, buyers of sales items if an individual library was later put up for sale, birth and/or death dates for important collectors, and other relevant details.
