Russian English Proverbs And Sayings

As a reference and learning tool to identify the base for the Russian and English languages, the Dictionary matches Russian proverbs with their equivalent and/or corresponding semiotic counterparts in English. Literal translations of the Russian proverbs are provided throughout and there are references and cross-references for proverbs dealing with the same or similar subject. The Russian proverbs are arranged alphabetically by first word and an English proverb index by key word is included for English readers.
