My world back then seemed unfulfilled, so I tried to raid the supernatural by exploring a primal land in the footsteps of one of the most audacious pirates to haunt the Spanish Main, Captain Henry Morgan. Here was a man who had helped shape the world we know today through a rough combination of polished charm and brass balls, and by walking in his footsteps, I hoped to find the ingredients for a life more rewarding than one dominated by an ice cold cubical and a plastic keyboard. I have always tried to travel in a manner that attempts to grow my understanding of our world by diving into the history of a place before I step onto a plane.
