Some Effects Of Induced Success And Failure On Judgment Behavior

The making of judgments becomes a matter of explicit central concern in a psychology where the formulations include an ego or analyzer-integrator concept. Within such a framework, judgment is considered to be some function of continuing intra-organism traits and of the psycho-social situation. In this research, the success-failure dimension of the psycho-social situation is manipulated and the effects on judgment behavior are studied as measured by speed, confidence, and stability of choice.
