Loren is in his early-30s, living a successful and beautiful life. The death of his lover Steve from AIDS hits like a storm. This is the story of two entwined chapters of Loren’s life: the last 10 days of Steve’s existence, and Loren’s year-long quest to find closure while traveling around the world with nothing but a backpack. Country by country, discovery by discovery, Loren makes the journey from what was once familiar and comfortable to face his fears, let go of the past, forgive and heal.
