In Tennessee, the 1973 Tennessee Real Estate Brokers Act, Rules, and Regulations together with the Tennessee Timeshare Act govern real estate broker licensing. To be eligible for the broker examination, a candidate must have held an ACTIVE license as an affiliate broker for a pre-specified amount of time. There is also a 120 classroom hours of approved real estate education requirement. Eligibility for examination is subject to approval! A lot of topics are covered by the exam but we choose to focus on the legal and regulatory topics here. We give you knowledge information relevant to the exam specification.
