The Bible Gender And Sexuality Critical Readings

This volume collects the most important and cutting-edge readings related to gender, sex, sexuality and the bible. Engaging the Hebrew Bible, New Testament, and surrounding texts and worlds, the selected readings reflect a wide-range of perspectives and approaches. The readings are presented in four parts: Gender/s in and around biblical contexts; Sex and Sexualities in and around biblical contexts; and Critiquing Gender and Sexuality. Each section features key readings from the history of scholarship, as well as more recent cutting-edge studies.
