Abstract: Classroom disruptions affect all learners, reducing instructional time of teachers and limiting learning opportunities for students. This study extended Banish, Saunders, and Wolf s (1969) research implementing a group contingency model. A reversal design was implemented monitoring compliance, non-compliance and frequency of disruptive behavior in the classroom. Results, limitations and future directions are discussed.
