The Expositors Bible Judges And Ruth

The expositor's Bible sets out to present and explain many of the old testament books. These two books have a common theme; should Jews be allowed to marry a Gentile? The book of Ruth has an example of the life of a woman who does exactly that. Judges presents the arguments for and against, though not specifically about Ruth. This collection of Bible stories was intended for use by younger readers and contains stories of Jesus Christ and Christian martyrs. It is a very short book dealing with the life of Jesus, Saul, and Luke. It is an English collection.
