I consider it an excellent book & naturally I am biased toward this opinion. This book will appeal to the great majority of horse players, who lose year after year. The book is based on well known facts of handicapping that the favorite wins one out of three races at odds too low to make a profit & the only way a player can win is to discard all favorites that are less than 2/1 & play those horses which are "Overlays." My main objective is to share my experiences with those who keep losing & think that it is impossible to win at the races. I have kept records for years & made a 25% profit on my investment, & what one fool can do, another can. The UNIQUE method is based on the concept that we look for Patterns & Factors of horses who win at odds that we define as "Overlays" & when we recognize these patterns, we play them.
