Whispers Through Time

A 2008 IPPY Gold Medal Winner Oliver Ryan, a young court reporter from Seattle, is about to discover what it's like to live in the past ... and the future Drawn to a Victoria, BC cemetary on a stormy night in 1916, Oliver is shocked to suddenly find himself in the company of a ghostly figure who takes him for the ride of his life. This is only the beginning of the adventure of a life time, actually several lifetimes, as Oliver meets fascinating people from different centuries and discovers he has been gifted with the remarkable ability to time travel, amongst other things. During a visit to Victoria in 2000, he meets Mary Janick, an Everett history teacher with whom he shares a secret. A genealogical mystery, an overly curious newspaper reporter, and a time-travelling romance, turn this once-shy court reporter's life upside down as he adjusts to his unique and challenging new situation.
