Womens Hanbo Jutsu

For the first time Yamabe Harumasa's book on Hanbo or "Half-staff" self defense for women. One of the first martial arts books geared towards women and written by a woman, this book was first published in 1909. Yamabe Harumasa, the authoress, studied several types of martial arts and consulted with many teachers before compiling this book. The original book is reprinted in its entirety with an English translation.
