One C Flute could play with one Bb Clarinet or any other preferred combination, or any numbers of players could be assigned to the duet parts to create flexibly-paired small ensembles. These duets work well with high school-level bands, especially those groups with imbalanced or incomplete like-instrumentation and with adult church ensembles.
