The number of articles of incorporation filed has been as compared with in 1887. The total capital stock of these corporations was but compared with total capital of the cor potations created in 1887 The decrease in the number of articles of in corporation filed has been less than in the total amount of capital. This indicates that the corporations formed during the year have been mostly corporations with a small capital stock.
