Grandpa Is Coming To Dinner

One of my readers once asked me," Who was your biggest hero growing up?" That question was easy to answer. It was my grandpa Fred Leudeman. My Grandpa was a hero. Purely. He was a nurse on the front lines during WW2. Grandpa was a three time cancer survivor. He saved his family home during the Great Depression. He was a man of courage and faith. Grandpa was the husband of my dear grandma Helen for over sixty years. He was the proud father of his only son Bernie. Grandpa, was the man who taught me how to laugh at myself, to praise God in all the storms, who taught me how to be a faithful friend. Since I have written a cookbook series dedicated to my beloved Grandma, I now wanted to dedicate one to my Hero. Grandpa. In this new cookbook series you will read about my grandfather Fred.
