The number of abstraction levels of information, the size of databases and knowledge bases and the amount and complexity of information stored in WWW are continuously growing. The aim of this series of Information Modelling and Knowledge Bases is to bring together experts from different areas who have a common interest in understanding and solving problems of information modelling and knowledge bases, as well as applying the results of research into practice. We aim at recognizing and pursuing research on new topics in the area of information modelling and knowledge bases, but also in connected areas in philosophy and logic, cognitive science, knowledge management, linguistics, multimedia, theory and practice of semantic web, software engineering and business management.
