S. A.) published in the Military Surgeon for May, 1918, the following Simple statement is made: The utility of intratracheal anesthesia for certain types of operations is well established. Perhaps I may add that in the many thousands of cases in which intratracheal ether anesthesia was used not a single case of ether death occurred.
