Memoirs of aCountry Boya is the story of Eddie. The youngest of four children, he was raised amid the cotton fields of rural west Tennessee. His father passed away when he was fourteen. In order to escape the cotton fields and in hope of something better, Eddie quit school and joined the military. Memoirs is the story of Eddieas life after being discharged from the service. It is the story of how a simple act of courage born more out of necessity than bravery introduced him into a way of life he had never imagined. Eddie knew nothing of the word syndicate or the terms skimming or bagmen. He was just a country boy in search of work. Memoirs is about the coming of age of a young man. It is a story of unknown capabilities coming to the surface. Mostly, it is story of deep friendships and relationships, and the events that made them unforgettable. It is the story of how one cold, snowy Christmas morning alone in a room over a nightclub, Eddie realized the road he was traveling was going in the wrong direction.
