Middleware 2001

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the IFIP/ACM International Conference on Distributed Systems Platforms, Middleware 2001, held in Heidelberg, Germany, in November 2001. The 20 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 116 submissions.
