Excerpt from The British Columbia Gazette, Vol. 76: June 11th, 1936 When the proposed Bill is Of such a nature that it may particularly affect one or more electoral districts, the notice shall further more be published once a week if possible in some newspaper in every electoral district affected, or if there be no newspaper published therein, then in a newspaper published in the electoral district nearest thereto. The publication Of such notice shall in all cases be continued for a period of four weeks during the interval of time between the close of the next preceding Session and the consideration of the petition.
