The extensive damage of COVID-19 in the market economy is highly costly and painful worldwide. This research debates how COVID-19 can reduce the massive consumption considerably in the short run. We remark that the market economy's surviving mechanism directly depends on maintaining enormous consumption levels and generating many profits. On the other hand, this research attempts to introduce a new concept entitled "The Massive Constrictioness of Consumption." This new concept involves how a global pandemic such as COVID-19 can generate terror, psychosis, and massive abstentions amongst the buyers in getting goods or services from restaurants, large shopping malls, popular markets, or any plaza. Meanwhile, an enormous constrictioness of consumption can generate the partial or full collapse of business immediately. Finally, this research supports that the massive constrictioness of consumption cannot keep long because it can impact the market economy performance in the short run directly.
