The cover design was made by Andrew M. Kilpatrick, a Senior, assisted by the Practical Arts department. The pen and ink sketches illustrate life about and within the school. The drawings used with the initial letters are from casts in the Fitchburg Normal School, chosen because they illustrate phases of the work of the school that are considered of particular importance.
