Thomas Welles (ca. 1590-1659/60) was born in Stourton, Whichford, Warwickshire, England and died in Wethersfield, Connecticut. His son, Thomas Welles (ca. 1625-1668), was born in Burmington, Warwickshire. He married Hannah (Tuttle) Pantry in Hartford, Connecticut in 1654. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Vermont, New York, and elsewhere.
